COVID-19 Testing
NOTICE: MERCER COUNTY TRANSITIONS FROM MAIL ORDER TO PICK-UP FOR COVID-19 TESTING
On Nov. 30, 2022, Mercer County ended the mail-order at home COVID-19 testing program through the website www.mercercares.org. The Mercer County Division of Public Health (DoPH) has transitioned to distribution of rapid take-home COVID-19 tests in person.
Residents are no longer be able to receive COVID-19 tests in the mail. In place of that program, free take-home rapid COVID-19 tests are now available at all scheduled Mercer County DoPH clinics.

TAKE-HOME RAPID TESTS
The rapid COVID-19 tests available at MCDPH clinics are Lucira brand over-the-counter rapid molecular nasal swab test that is comparable to a PCR test. The results are available within 13 minutes if positive. This test is performed at home, eliminating the risk of person-to-person exposure to the virus.
Tests are available at all Mercer County clinics. These are free of charge and provided through COVID-19 grant funding. Additional opportunities to pick up test kits at MCDPH clinics are displayed below.
