NJDOT and Mercer County announce a joint Public Information Center (PIC) on Wednesday, December 19 about their separate projects to replace a total of three (3) bridges on Alexander Street in Princeton in 2019/2020. NJDOT is planning the replacement of the existing Alexander Road Bridge over the D&R Canal at the border of West Windsor and Princeton. Mercer County is planning the replacement of the existing Alexander Street Bridge over Stony Brook and the nearby Alexander Street Bridge over Tributary to Stony Brook, just north of Basin Street, during this same time period. During these projects Alexander Road will be CLOSED at the Township border, and traffic will be detoured using US Route 1, Washington Road and Faculty Road.

The Public Information Center will be held at Monument Hall, Main Meeting Room, located at 1 Monument Drive, Princeton, NJ 08542, on Wednesday, December 19 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Representatives from NJDOT and Mercer County will be available at the PIC to discuss project details, answer questions and receive public comments.
