When you visit the County of Mercer’s website, we will not collect personal information from you, unless you specifically and knowingly choose to provide such information in one of the site's web forms or in an email message.

Information we collect and how we use that information

To analyze and improve our user’s experience with the County’s website, the website will gather the following information about your visit, but this information does not identify you personally:

  • IP address – This Internet Protocol address is a number assigned to your computer by your internet service provider so that you can surf the internet.
  • Your internet domain – e.g. Verizon.net, AOL.com or princeton.edu
  • The website that takes you to our website
  • The browser and operating system (e.g. Internet explorer 10 and Windows 7)

  • The duration of time you stayed at the County’s website

Choice and personal information

You can choose to decline participation in any activities requesting your personal information in the County’s website. Your choice of not participating will have no effect on your accessing our website and its data.
