COVID-19 Vaccination
Everyone 6 months or older is eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine in New Jersey
At this time, the Mercer County Division of Public Health does not offer the new 2023-2024 monovalent COVID-19 vaccine. Please check with your primary care provider, local pharmacy, or vaccines.gov for available vaccines.
The 2023-2024 COVID-19 vaccine should be received at least two months after your most recent COVID-19 vaccine. This updated version of COVID-19 vaccine offers stronger protections against severe illness and death.
Children ages 6 months through 4 years who previously completed a Moderna or Pfizer series are eligible to receive a single dose of the new vaccine at least two months after their last dose.
Children 6 months through 4 years who received one dose of Moderna are eligible for one dose of the Moderna 2023-2024 vaccine. Children 6 months through 4 years who received one dose of Pfizer are eligible for two doses of the Pfizer 2023-2024 vaccine. Children 6 months through 4 years who received two doses of Pfizer are eligible for one dose of Pfizer 2023-2024 vaccine.
People ages 5 years and older who completed a Moderna or Pfizer series are recommended to receive a single dose of the 2023-2024 mRNA vaccine regardless of previous vaccine history. Eligible adults may choose which mRNA vaccine they receive.
Access your COVID-19 vaccine record via mobile app
Docket is an app from the NJ Department of Health that makes it easier for you and your family to securely access your COVID-19 vaccination record. If you don't have your vaccination card with you or lost it, you can easily access your record through the app to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination as needed.
The Docket app is free and available in the App store or on Google Play in English or Spanish depending on Smartphone settings. To learn more about Docket, refer to the Department of Health's frequently asked questions.

Schedule with the NJ Vaccine Scheduling System
- Sign up to schedule appointments at vaccine locations that use the State’s Vaccine Scheduling System.
Senior Hotline
- If you are 65 or older, you can call a special senior hotline at 856-249-7007 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for vaccination scheduling support. Dedicated appointment slots are reserved for those ages 65 or older.

- Report an issue or request support.
- Contact the Vaccine Call Center at 855-568-0545 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to register in the NJ Vaccine Scheduling System, obtain information about the vaccine, obtain contact information for sites, check registration status, and update registration information.
- Request an in-home vaccination for homebound individuals.
- NJ 211 is offering free rides to and from vaccination sites in partnership with United Way Worldwide and Lyft. Rides are available wherever Lyft operates in New Jersey. Call 2-1-1 to schedule your ride.
