PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT DONATIONS NEEDED
The nationwide shortage of personal protective equipment needed in the battle against COVID-19 is impacting first responders and health care professionals in Mercer County, and the County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is asking for your help. If you, your organization or someone you know can donate of any of the items listed below to aid Mercer County’s first responders and health care professionals, please complete the form at one of the links provided.
- N95 masks
- Eye protectors (face shield, goggles, other eye protectors
- Sterile gowns
- Medically rated gloves
- Regular masks
- Surgical masks
- Procedural masks
- Alternative respirators that OSHA has given permission to use in health care during this pandemic
- Disinfectant wipes
- Other disinfecting products
Please fill out the electronic PPE -Equipment Donation Form or download the PPE-Equipment Donation Form and email it to the Mercer County Office of Emergency Management at oem@mercercounty.org or fax it to (609) 799-7067. You can also reach out to OEM at (609) 281-7228.
MOST FACILITIES ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC OR ARE BY APPOINTMENT
- Mercer County Surrogate’s Office has staff available to answer your questions and concerns by telephone. Please visit the Surrogate’s Office Hours and Locations page for more information on how to reach the office. For any emergent matters in Mercer Chancery, you should call (609) 577-4200, ext. 76019 or email MercerChancery.mbx@njcourts.gov.
- Mercer County Clerk's office: Operations for timely recording of documents can continue via e-recording at njcountyrecording.com. However, due to the office closure, you will need to sign up using an outside vendor. Both Simplifile and CSC are established and responsible vendors -- contact Simplifile at 1-800-460-5657(simplifile.com) or CSC at 1-866-652-0111 (erecording@cscglobal.com). Property searches can be done remotely atpip.mercercounty.org. All other services that the County Clerk’s Office usually offers such as county identification cards, in-person property recording, passports, notary commissions, etc. will not be available to the public until further notice. - Mercer County One-Stop Career Center customers can receive assistance by calling (609) 989-6824. For unemployment insurance information, please visit https://nj.gov/labor. If you have questions regarding your unemployment benefits, click here. Continue checking www.mercercounty.org for updates.
- The McDade Administration Building, 640 South Broad St. and the Mercer County Board of Social Services are open on a limited basis. For MCBOSS, please visit www.mcboss.org for more details or call (609) 989-4320.
- The Correction Center, Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Services Communications Center remain open.
- The Criminal and Civil Courthouses will be open only for emergency court proceedings, and the Office of the Surrogate will be open only for cases deemed emergent.
