The Disabilities Advisory Council (DAC) provides a forum on issues pertaining to disabilities. The council members:

• Coordinate comprehensive social services.
• Identify, collect, and analyze data.
• Assess and prioritize the resources and needs within Mercer County.
• Advocate for consumers as a means to improve the quality of services for residents with disabilities.

The council is composed of 11 volunteers, many of whom live with a disability, as well as those working in disability services.
