Mercer County Park Festival Grounds encompasses over 200,000 square feet of venue space with a 2,200-square-foot, state-of-the-art performing arts stage with a wide array of electrical, lighting, sound and rigging capabilities. 

The Festival Grounds hosts numerous community events throughout the year such as a variety of Festivals; Indo-American, Hispanic, Mercer County Cultural Festival; our Annual Freedom Festival and the largest dog show on the East Coast, Trenton Kennel Club Dog Show. In 2014 the Festival Grounds was one of the venues that hosted the National Special Olympics.

Where can I get tickets?

Where are you located?

We are located in Mercer County Park in West Windsor, NJ, conveniently near several major highways; I-295, I-195, I-95, NJ Turnpike, Route 130, Route 33 and Route 1. The Park has two entrances; one is off Old Trenton Road and one is off Hughes Drive. Wayfinding in the park is excellent; follow the signs to the Festival Grounds.

How many people will be at the concert I’m going to?

Each concert is different, but generally the Mercer County Park Festival Grounds hold about 500-1,000 reserved seats and about 7,000 lawn seats.

Are there seats in your venue?

There is no permanent seating in the Mercer County Park Festival Grounds; there is an area where seating can be set up to accommodate about 500-700 reserved seats. The lawn seats require all concert goers to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. No outside food & beverage are permitted in the Festival Grounds during concerts and events.

What time does my show begin and end?

Depending on the event, shows will usually start at 6 p.m. with doors opening at 5 p.m. The show will end between 9:30-10 p.m.

Is the Mercer County Park Festival Grounds a family-friendly venue?

Yes, we welcome all families to our events and strive to make every experience special for our park visitors.

How do you separate underage concert goers from those of legal drinking age?

Each event is different and the Mercer County Park Commission, Event Promoters and Alcoholic Beverage Commission meet before every event to determine the best procedures. There are specific areas for beer gardens that require ID to enter and are monitored by the Mercer County Sheriff Officers or West Windsor Police.

Is there parking on site?

Yes, Mercer County Park has plenty of parking available adjacent to the Festival Grounds. Parking for events ranges, depending on the event. (Example: Concert & Movie nights are all complimentary parking)

I lost my cell phone/credit card/wallet/backpack/jacket/etc. at the Mercer County Park Festival Grounds? What do I do?

All lost items will be turned in to the Mercer County Park Commission Park Rangers. You can call them at (609) 448-8956 or (609) 448-8974

I have a 2-year-old child that I want to bring to the show. Does he need a ticket?

Any child under the age of 12 years old does not require a ticket for Park Commission held events. 

May I bring in outside food, drinks or alcohol?

Outside food, drink AND alcoholic beverages at ticketed concerts and events is PROHIBITED. Please refer to our Rules and Regulations.

Can I bring my pet to a concert/event?

For ticketed concerts and events, pets are not permitted in the Mercer County Park Festival Grounds. The Mercer County Freedom Festival and the Mercer County Park Summer Concerts Series are pet-friendly. Dogs must be on a leash.

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ALL EVENTS :

The following items are PROHIBITED in the Festival Grounds during a ticketed concert:

  • Aerosol cans
  • Air horns, bullhorns or noise makers
  • Alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs
  • Animals (except certified service dogs for the disabled)
  • Beach balls and other inflatables
  • Drones of any type
  • Coolers of any type; thermal bags or beverage coolers
  • Fireworks, firearms, or other weapons
  • Framed backpacks or bags
  • Glass bottles or aluminum cans
  • Laser pens/pointers
  • Outside food or beverage
  • Selfie sticks
  • Skateboards, bicycles, hoverboards or roller blades
  • Smoking and e-cigarettes
  • Sticks or clubs (including signs attached to sticks)
  • Umbrellas (beach or sport)
  • Water bottles or mugs
  • Professional cameras (policy will depend on the artist/promoter.)

 

The following items are PERMITTED in the Festival Grounds during a ticketed concert:

  • Lawn chairs and blankets in GENERAL ADMISSION ONLY. They will not be allowed in reserved seating
  • Ponchos/rain jackets

*Please note for all Park Commission non-ticked run summer concerts all above rules apply, however the following items ARE permitted into the Festival Grounds:

  • Lawn chairs and blankets
  • Liquids and non-alcoholic beverages in their original sealed, plastic containers not to exceed one (1) liter
  • Pets on a leash at all times. Please be responsible for cleaning up after your pet and yourself
  • Personal sized coolers (no coolers on wheels or large sized coolers)

Cameras
Personal point and shoot cameras, iPhones and iPads are permitted at all Park Commission run summer concerts. However, at ticketed events it will depend on the artist/promoter. Please review your ticket for the artist’s rules. Professional cameras with a removable lens and recording devices are NOT permitted at any concerts unless prior authorization has been given.

For your safety and the safety of others, guests and their possessions are subject to inspection as condition of admittance to the Mercer County Park Festival Grounds. Please have your bags open and available for inspection.

HELPFUL HINTS:

  • Entrance into the Festival Grounds for MOST events is 1 hour prior
  • Parking at all events is $5 unless noted otherwise
  • When picking children up, arrive one-half hour before the concerts ends
  • Beer and wine are normally sold at most events – picture ID is required for all ages
  • Children under two years old are admitted free to all non-ticketed events ONLY
