$20 per night
Must be 21 years or older to reserve a campground. Anyone under 21 years of age MUST be accompanied by the Primary Occupant when camping.
General Information: The Mercer County Campgrounds located at the East Picnic Area includes 10 sites, one of which is ADA accessible. There are six sites with a lean-to structure which have three covered sides with a roof, elevated above the ground. The remaining four sites include space to pitch a tent and other camping equipment. Each campsite is limited to a maximum of six persons.
Mercer County Park trails are all accessible from the campgrounds. Visitors can enjoy hiking, biking as well as boating and fishing on the 365-acre lake in the park. No swimming is allowed on any County parkland.
Campers are to bring their own trash and recycling bags for their stay at the campgrounds. Please do not dispose of trash in the fire-pit or the charcoal disposal bins. Trash and recycling can be brought to the East Picnic Area for proper disposal. Alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited.
All vehicles are to park at the designated campground parking lot. Two vehicles per campsite are permitted. Vehicles must display campground parking pass on their dashboard during their stay and provide a copy at their campsite. Registration slips will be provided through Community Pass.
RV's and trailers are not permitted in the campgrounds.
Reservations: Advanced registration is required. All camping reservations must be made through Community Pass. When registering for the site, all nights must be pre-paid in full.
Each campsite must have a Primary Occupant who is over the age of 21. During the registration, the primary occupant must list first and last names, and street address for all the individuals in the camping party, as they are the only individuals allowed to occupy the campsite.
The Primary occupant must be able to present a valid government issued photo identification and a printed copy of the campsite reservation.
Check-in & Check-out – CHECK-IN TIME IS BETWEEN 1 AND 5 PM ON THE DAY OF YOUR RESERVATION. CHECK-OUT TIME IS 10 AM ON THE MORNING OF YOUR LAST DAY.
CANCELLATIONS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. IN THE CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, IF THE CAMPGROUND REMAINS OPEN AND THE CAMPER(S) ELECT TO LEAVE, THE ACTION WILL BE TREATED AS AN EARLY DEPARTURE AND NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.
PLEASE REFER TO THE RULES AND REGULATIONS IN THE EVENT THAT THE MERCER COUNTY PARK COMMISSION MUST CLOSE DUE TO AN EMERGENCY OR HAZARDOUS WEATHER SITUATIONS.
Amenities: Ten wooded campsites; six including camping lean-tos and four sites can accommodate tents. Each campsite provides the following: Campfire ring, Picnic Table, Charcoal Grill, Sufficient Tent Space, Public Restrooms at the East Picnic Area and Water service at the East Picnic Area.
Lean-to sites: No furnishing is provided within the lean-to; a camping pad or air mattress is recommended. Lean-tos can accommodate up to four people in sleeping bags. One tent per lean-to site is allowed; however, campsites are limited to a maximum of six persons.
The following six campsites have lean-tos for campers to utilize:
- Ash
- Cedar
- Elm (ADA Accessible)
- Maple
- Tulip
- Willow
The following campsites do not have lean-tos and can accommodate tents and other camping equipment:
- Cherry
- Dogwood
- Lilac
- Oak
