Commissioners Team with Shine and Inspire Closets for 2nd Annual Donation Drive
Trenton – The Mercer County Board of County Commissioners has teamed up once again with Mercer County non-profit Shine and Inspire for their annual winter donation drive. Park Commission acquires Hopewell Valley Golf Club
The County of Mercer and the Mercer County Park Commission have completed the acquisition of the Hopewell Valley Golf Club. This 186-acre, 18-hole course includes a clubhouse, ballroom and pro shop along with additional offerings and amenities that will be a first for the Park Commission.

On August 21, 2020, Governor Murphy signed legislation eliminating the term Freeholder. The newly signed law requires all boards of chosen freeholders to be known as boards of county commissioners by January 1, 2021.
