Park Commission deer management program begins Sept. 10
The Mercer County Park Commission will conduct a deer management program at Mercer County Park, Mercer Meadows and Baldpate Mountain beginning Saturday, Sept. 10. This program is meant to reduce the overabundant deer herd in the greater Mercer County region.

Heat Advisory issued for Mercer; cooling sites open
National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for Mercer County and surrounding area on Wednesday, July 20, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and an Excessive Heat Watch on Thursday, July 21, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. County Executive Brian M. Hughes reminds residents that many cooling sites will be open.

Howell Farm Juneteenth program to feature tours of historical farmhouse

Mercer offers fresh-produce vouchers to qualifying older adults
